Excellent good! Dishes were amazing. It took awhile to get waited on, which is unusual at such a nice place. But the food was delicious!

Went here for dinner when visiting Fairhope on the recommendation of a friend. Very nice ambiance and service, and the food was good. It's a good, solid choice!

The Wash House was an amazing night sitting at the bar. Great. Service, food and wine!!! Well Done Wash House HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Seriously delicious!! Came here on the recommendation of a friend and very happy we did!! From the outside, it looks like it's no big whoop and you might wonder if you are at the right location but keep walking and head inside and you will be pleasantly surprised how quaint and cozy this establishment is and they make you feel so welcomed!! It honestly feels like you have just stepped into a family's secret hideaway that serves delicious food/drink. To be on the safe side make a reservation or you may not be able to get in!!

Really in three words, fantastic, fantastic, fantastic! But, in Yelp legalese, here comes the tale of wonderfulness. I got invited to Washouse by my neighbor. Yes I have good neighbors. They raved about this place. Reservation a must, but you won't regret it. Service is stellar, and I do mean stellar. I actually stopped taking pictures out of embarrassment. (Really)! The Washouse is beautifully situated something that the city of Fairhope really delivers. But, from the bread to the appetizer, to the main course is exquisite. I ordered, the wedge salad, pork chops and collards, followed up with key lime pie bread pudding. All were fantastic.

During a trip to visit my sister, this was one of the nicer restaurants we chose to have dinner. I'm so glad we opted for it; it turned out to be a great meal. For a date night or, in our case, a sister reunion/couples date, this place definitely fits the bill. We started with two appetizers: the Oyster Lettuce Wraps and the Gulf Crab Cakes. Both were excellent starters. 8 Oz. Filet truffled-gouda mashed potatoes, broccolini, sauce béarnaise ** Very good! The filet was cooked perfectly, and the gouda mashed potatoes were super flavorful. Niman Ranch Pork Shank sweet potato gnocchi, local mushrooms, fried onion, brussel sprouts, honey bourbon cider glaze ** My husband loved this; however, I do not see this on their menu currently. Herb and Parmesan Orzo ** This was a side dish that went with their special of the night; however, we requested some of this with our meals and they happily obliged! I love a herbaceous risotto! This version was good, but it could have been a bit more flavorful. It was herb-y, but needed more zing. Our service was excellent, and the atmosphere was so lovely. I was happy they were very accommodating to requests. We had a wonderful server as well. Overall, a great experience. Next time we visit my sister, we will definitely go back.

Dinner was sooooooooo great !! Requested to be sat away from everyone and in a quiet area and they did an outstanding job of accommodating that request. The food was so good. They had some type of pecan creme brûlée, never had it before but it was melt in your mouth delicious. Service was fast and tbh.. I have nothing to complain about aside from the fact that we couldn't get reservations the next week to come back LOL they were completely booked. I see why ! Highly recommended this place for a date night or a small party.

First time here. The establishment is really nice and cozy. Our waitress was Francis. The service was A+. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. The food was very well seasoned, lots of flavor. The only thing is that there's not a single chicken dish on the menu. We had a chocolate pecan pie, it was delicious! There's always room for dessert!!! Next time I'm in town, I'll be back.
